Why Tosca?

At Tosca, we’re not just maintaining machines—we’re enabling a more sustainable supply chain. As a leader in reusable packaging solutions, we support some of the largest brands in the world while reducing waste and improving efficiency. Our facilities are fast-paced, our teams are dedicated, and our work has purpose. Join us and make a difference from day one.

What You'll Do:

As Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead the maintenance team at our Salt Lake City wash facility to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation of all equipment and systems. This role is hands-on—you’ll be just as comfortable troubleshooting with techs on the floor as you are managing preventive maintenance schedules in the office.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of 3 maintenance technicians
  • Managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs using MaintainX (CMMS)
  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment such as industrial washers, conveyors, compressors, and motors
  • Troubleshooting electrical systems, PLCs, and VFDs
  • Coordinating parts ordering using D365 and maintaining spare parts inventory
  • Driving uptime and reliability improvements for aging equipment
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with production and engineering teams
  • Supporting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who’s highly technical, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be a collaborative leader who enjoys working alongside your team to solve complex problems.

Key qualifications:

  • 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, including 2–5 years in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Strong experience with electromechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation
  • Proficiency with CMMS tools and work order systems
  • Ability to mentor and support technicians across multiple shifts
  • Welding and fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, ARC) is a plus
  • Familiarity with food safety environments is a plus
  • Creative problem-solver—comfortable working with older equipment and sourcing hard-to-find parts

Work Schedule

This is a full-time, on-site day shift leadership position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, ideally 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility to support second shift teams or weekend maintenance projects. Availability for occasional Saturday work (typically one per month) is expected.
