Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Salt Lake City, UT, US, 84116
Why Tosca?
At Tosca, we’re not just maintaining machines—we’re powering supply chains that keep food safe, fresh, and moving. As a leader in reusable packaging and sustainability, we’re investing in innovation at every level—including maintenance. Join a team where your expertise matters, your voice is heard, and your work makes a daily impact.
What You’ll Do
As Maintenance Manager at our Salt Lake City facility, you’ll lead a small but critical team across three shifts. Your mission? Maximize uptime, mentor techs, and tackle electrical and mechanical challenges with confidence.
Here’s what success looks like:
- Lead and develop a team of 4–5 maintenance techs
- Drive the site’s preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues involving motors, PLCs, VFDs, conveyors, and wash equipment
- Manage CMMS/work order systems, inventory, and vendor relationships
- Serve as a coach, trainer, and go-to problem solver for your team
- Collaborate with GMs and corporate teams on process improvement and compliance
What We’re Looking For
This is a hands-on leadership role—not a desk job. We’re looking for someone who:
- Has 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience
- Has 2+ years of experience managing or supervising a maintenance team
- Can read schematics and safely use voltmeters, troubleshoot panels, and diagnose electrical issues on the spot
- Is confident with PLCs, VFDs, and electromechanical systems (not just residential or facility maintenance)
- Knows how to build systems, not just fix things
- Bonus points for welding/fabrication experience (MIG, TIG, Arc) or food safety exposure
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, salaried role on-site in Salt Lake City, UT.
- Typical hours: Monday–Friday, 5:30am–2:00pm
- Occasional early or late visits to connect with 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Light on-call support expected—but you’ll have a strong team to back you up
