What You'll Do:

As General Manager, you’ll lead day-to-day operations and overall performance at the Hazleton, PA, Service Center. You’ll build a strong team, maintain high standards, and drive results across safety, quality, customer service, cost, and equipment performance.

 

  • Lead daily Service Center operations, including production, safety, quality, shipping, receiving, scheduling, and maintenance
  • Coach and develop production and maintenance leaders while creating a positive, accountable work environment
  • Set clear performance expectations and ensure operational goals are achieved
  • Champion OSHA, internal safety, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Manage staffing needs and temporary staffing partnerships
  • Monitor budgets and control operating costs
  • Ensure production flexibility to meet customer demand
  • Partner with Sales on customer solutions and product testing
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and effectively manage operational change

What We Are Looking For:

We’re looking for a hands-on operations leader who can successfully manage people, processes, and performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

 

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar operations leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrated success leading teams, coaching employees, managing performance, and driving results
  • Strong knowledge of workplace safety and compliance; food safety experience strongly preferred
  • Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial and operational statements
  • Strong communication, listening, judgment, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Lean Process Improvement or Six Sigma experience is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
