Job Description

 

The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and monitoring Tosca’s network, security, and other infrastructure solutions.  This role is the senior engineer responsible for leading the design of solutions, monitoring and maintaining networks, security solutions, troubleshooting, and resolving network and system errors and inefficiencies.  In addition, this role works closely with other teams leading configuration for laptop, phone, and other technology and images and security to work seamlessly within the US and global environment working with other technology team members in the US and globally (as well as 3rd party partners).  In summary, this role leads engineering design, implementation, and monitoring for network, security, and infrastructure systems while ensuring all services are running smoothly and effectively within the US.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop and manage the network, security, other systems infrastructure solutions.
  • Provides 2nd and 3rd line support to the Service Desk, users, and other technology teams.
  • Liaise with external support partners who act as additional 3rd line support for systems and security.
  • Ensure system connectivity of all servers, shared software, groupware, and other applications
  • Oversee the development, installation, configuration, monitoring, and administration of infrastructure.
  • Troubleshooting technical issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of relevant service standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Create and maintain system configuration documentation and operational manuals.
  • Work with executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements and systems goals and identify and resolve business systems issues.
  • Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
  • Keep abreast of the latest advancements in technology, protocols, and best practices.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Associates or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 5 to 10 years working in a technical infrastructure role is preferred, or 10+ years of working experience in technical infrastructure capacity 
  • Knowledge and experience with ITIL based processes
  • Knowledge and experience with Service Desk/tier 2/3 support tools for incident, request, problem, and change management
  • A high degree of knowledge in these areas is required:
    • Microsoft cloud technologies & management (Azure, Azure AD, Microsoft 365)
    • Microsoft InTune
    • Microsoft Advanced Threat Detection
    • Microsoft Identity and Access Management
    • Network routing and switching
    • Firewalls & network security
  • Experience preferred includes:
    • Experience with security vulnerability testing and other security evaluation tools and processes
    • Wireless technologies
    • Virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, AVD)
    • Windows and Linux server OS Management
    • Identity and Access Management
  • Strong logical thinking and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and apply context to assess priority
  • Able to think creatively and collaboratively to solve problems 
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work with users on-site and remotely
  • Strong documentation skills
