The IT VP is a vital member of the global IT Leadership Team. This individual is responsible for ensuring IT has a strong and engaged working relationship with our North American regional colleagues and representing NA's needs in developing the Tosca IT strategy. This person will act as the IT executive on the NA regional leadership team and is the critical point of contact for NA about all IT matters.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the global IT strategy and platforms to support overall business goals. Collaborate with the proactive North America Leadership Team (NALT) to understand their objectives and stay updated on the NA strategic plan.
  • Act as an engaged and proactive member of NALT, representing IT and actively supporting the NA President and his team.
  • Lead selection, procurement, and implementation of new IT platforms and software for NA as part of the global IT plan. Manage large complex projects, including ERP systems. Serve as the key liaison between business users, vendors, and technical teams.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation of workflows. Analyze current processes and implement updated procedures and technologies to optimize operations.
  • Develop and manage the relevant NA elements of IT and project budgets. Analyze spending and align financial resources with strategic priorities. Negotiate with vendors and find cost optimization opportunities in NA.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead the NA IT business partner teams. Recruit talent and build an effective and collaborative team.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and industry trends. Advise on potential innovations that may impact our business.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience managing large IT departments and organizations. Experience leading teams of IT professionals across infrastructure, applications, security, projects, etc.
  • Experience successfully managing enterprise-wide IT projects such as ERP implementations. Should have led full life cycle deployments from selection through rollout and training.
  • Demonstrated experience improving business processes and workflows through technology. Identifying manual processes to automate, analyzing current workflows, and implementing updated procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with emerging technologies and staying on top of IT industry trends. Knowledge of potential innovations that could impact the business.
  • Experience developing and managing large IT budgets. Skilled at analyzing spending, measuring ROI, and optimizing costs. Experience negotiating with vendors.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing IT governance frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT. Understanding of IT best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to present to executives, liaise across business units, and facilitate meetings with mixed technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing technology teams. Ability to set vision and strategy for IT group.
  • A bachelor's degree in IT or computer science is required. MBA or Master's degree preferred. Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
  • Strategic Thinking - Strong ability to understand business goals and develop long-term IT strategies and roadmaps to enable critical objectives. Able to envision future needs.
  • Technical Expertise - Hands-on experience with key technologies and systems. Understands infrastructure, networks, security, business applications, and system integrations expertly.
  • Project Management - Exceptionally skilled at managing large complex IT projects through the entire lifecycle. Leads planning, communications, budgeting, vendor selection, resource allocation, execution, training, and monitoring.
  • Process Improvement - Excellent process analysis and workflow optimization skills. Able to audit current processes and implement improved procedures, automation, and technologies.
  • Financial Management - Experienced with budgeting, purchasing, contract negotiation, and financial management for IT organizations and projects. Manages costs and measures ROI.
  • Leadership - Proven ability to recruit, develop, and lead high-performing technology teams. Skilled at setting vision, mentoring, and fostering collaboration.

Work Schedule

This is a hybrid role where Monday and Friday are work-from-home days. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at our Colony Square office in Midtown.
