What You'll Do:
- Manage and grow Tosca’s emergent new business in Retail, Quick Service Restaurant, and Consumer Product Goods supply chains.
- Contribute to the development of New Business Strategic Plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives. Recommend innovation, new products and new services to support strategic growth.
- Become the Tosca expert for these customer supply chains’ supply and demand, trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Report and advise on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts. Provide sales forecasts and track performance against budget.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional groups including commercial, finance, supply chain, operations, marketing, asset management, and customer experience.
- Conduct in-person visits to engage with customers, participate in trade events, and drive field-level execution (~60% travel).
- Monitor performance through regular sales reports, forecasts, and budget reviews. Adjust plans to meet targets.
- Ensure Salesforce is updated weekly with accurate data on opportunities, activities, and pipeline status.
What We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of experience in retail, perishable, or consumer product goods supply chain sales experience
- Established prospecting and closing skills
- Proven B2B sales experience with a track record of account acquisition and growth.
- Strong analytical skills in supply chain cost modeling and market research.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% with overnight stays.
- Valid U.S. driver's license.
- High-energy, entrepreneurial mindset with strong communication skills and ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
- Experience selling packaging or perishable supply chain solutions preferred.
