As the Director of Process Improvement, you will be pivotal in optimizing operational efficiency and leading strategic initiatives to drive growth and competitive advantage for Tosca North America. This role focuses on enhancing both the customer and employee experience, improving operational efficiency, and implementing cost-saving measures. You’ll lead cross-functional teams in executing high-impact projects that align with Tosca’s objectives. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Customer Experience, you will play a key role in shaping our success.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of internal and external (customer-facing) processes to identify areas of inefficiency, waste, and variability, and prioritize improvement opportunities based on potential impact, feasibility, level of effort, and overall impact on the business.
  • Collaborate closely across Customer Experience, Operations, Sales and Finance teams to identify process improvement opportunities that enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth.
  • Have a strong ability to influence team members throughout the organization, without direct authority.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners, to identify opportunities for process improvement and collaboration.

Project Management

  • Lead the development and execution of process improvement strategies aligned with Tosca's overall business objectives
  • Develop and implement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, employing tools such as value stream mapping, DMAIC processes, and root cause analysis to drive measurable improvements
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and lead project teams, ensuring the successful delivery of improvement initiatives within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.

Training and Development

  • Lead change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainability of process improvements across the organization.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on process improvement methodologies and best practices, building a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Data and Analytics

  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, and regularly report on progress and results to senior leadership.
  • Develop and manage the process improvement budget, ensuring the effective allocation of resources and the achievement of targeted ROI.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in process improvement, operations management, or a related role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong expertise in Lean and other process improvement methodologies, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and data analysis software, such as Microsoft Visio, Minitab, or Tableau.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives from concept to completion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
